Big Sean did not do any magazine advertisement, however he did do a TV advert as he felt it was a better way of promoting the album. Big Sean has used clips from his music videos from the album to create an album, it has the back ground music of the introduction song and the ending of the advert displays his 2 different types of albums, the one on the left is his deluxe album and the right is his normal album. Underneath this there is the title of the album 'Dark Sky Paradise' and the 2.24.15 which is the release date for the album. Inside the album there are many themes, such as sex, drugs, smoking, gambling, his life, women and money. The is a sum up of his album in a short video or a teaser for customers to buy this album. The theme from the album cover was present here in the past as the advert came out before the album was released. Therefore, a lot of the house colors and the monochrome background were just carried on and reapplied for his album. The album advertiser is his label, Def Jam Recordings the mood for the advert is 'Active'

Here is ' The Source ' this magazine has a reputation of being one of the greatest Hip Hop and RnB magazines. Here for the front cover we have Chris Brown wearing formal but funky attire with a with a white bow tie and Golden gas mask. His face is in front of the Album Title which tells us that the magazine are saying Chris Brown is more important than there album name. The shot is a medium close up with lots of lighting for Chris Browns face. Chris Browns name is in black with gold border around the black capital large font. His album name is underneath this to give it significance his album name is in red, which is also the same color for the Title of the Album (The Source). Chris Brown is the Center of attention for the cover, the magazine is promoting the Chris' album and Chris himself. There is a bar code which can be scanned on smart phones to get more information about Chris Brown and his album F.A.M.E..
